PRODUCT TYPE: Pigmented Gloss Alkyd Enamel.

DESCRIPTION: A durable enamel suitable for use on cabinets, furniture, tools, toys, machinery, etc. It is used widely as an excellent marine and equipment enamel finish which withstands all types of weather conditions. The fully-cured finish can withstand repeated washing and normal everyday abuse. It has proven its performance in industrial and commercial maintenance fields, where frequent washing is necessary, and when used as a gloss interior or exterior trim enamel.

Intended Use: For cabinets, furniture, tools, toys, machinery, etc.

VISCOSITY: 70-80 k.u.

DRY TO TOUCH: 1 hour

WEIGHT SOLIDS: 50-60% depending upon color*

TACK FREE: 6-8 hours

VOLUME SOLIDS: 42-45% depending upon color*

TIME TO RECOAT: Overnight

WEIGHT PER GALLON: 7.60-9.50 lbs. per gal.

DRY HARD: 8 hours

V.O.C.: 439 grams per liter

COLOR RANGE: Whites and Tints

FLASH POINT: 107° F.

PACKAGING: 1 or 5 gallon containers

BATCH: Stock

PRACTICAL COVERAGE: 300-500 square feet per gallon depending on application.

* Contact Farwest Paint for specific weight solids and volume solids % on individual colors.

SURFACE PREPARATION: Surface must be clean, dry, properly prepared and free of dirt, grease, or loose chipping paint and particles. Glossy surfaces must be de-glossed with Farwest #644 Gloss-Set or sandpaper before finishing. New or bare wood surfaces should be primed with Farwest #710 Oil Primer.  New or bare metal surfaces should be primed with Farwest X-4576 Red Oxide Primer before applying finish coat.

APPLICATION:Brush, roller, or airless or conventional spray. Note: This material needs little or no thinning for brushing and rolling. The consistency has been formulated to provide best results from full-body application.

 THINNING: Thin if necessary with Farwest #602 Mineral Spirits or Farwest #605 Synthetic Thinner.

CLEAN-UP: Tools and equipment may be cleaned with Farwest #602 Mineral Spirits or Farwest #605 Synthetic Thinner.
