X-5099 MATSON Lacquer Sanding Sealer

COLOR(S): Clear.

PRODUCT TYPE: Nitrocellulose (flat).

DESCRIPTION: A clear sealer formulated as an undercoat for use with Farwest’s MATSON Clear Industrial Lacquer Finishes. This product is widely used for filling in the grain of wood to achieve a smooth and uniform finish.

Intended Use: For filling in the grain of wood and as an undercoat for lacquer finishes.

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS

VISCOSITY: 29-32" (FORD #4)

DRY TO TOUCH: 5 minutes

WEIGHT SOLIDS: 22-24%

TACK FREE: 10-15 minutes

VOLUME SOLIDS: 14-16%

TIME TO RECOAT: 1 hour

WEIGHT PER GALLON: 7.60 lbs. per gal.

DRY HARD: 2 hours

V.O.C.: 678 grams per liter

COLOR RANGE: Clear

FLASH POINT: 20° F.

PACKAGING: 1 or 5 gallon containers

BATCH: Stock

PRACTICAL COVERAGE: 400-500 square feet per gallon depending on application.

SURFACE PREPARATION: Surface must be clean, dry, free of all foreign agents and properly prepared.

APPLICATION: Should be applied by spray only. To get the best finish results, more than one coat should be applied, and a light sanding between each consecutive coat will result in a smooth finish.

THINNING: Thinning is not necessary.

CLEAN-UP: Tools and equipment may be cleaned with Farwest #610 Lacquer Thinner.
