PRODUCT TYPE: Organic-Inorganic Zinc Rich Primer.

DESCRIPTION: A combination Organic-Inorganic Zinc Rich Primer supplied ready-mixed with Zinc Dust and Vehicle together. It is formulated with special components to provide better mechanical and chemical bond and offer resistance to rust, weathering or heat.

Intended Use: A primer for use on bare ferrous metals, general marine use, or severe atmospheric exposures when topcoated , for regalvanizing welds, bridges, steel pipes, chemical plants when properly topcoated or architectural equipment.

PRACTICAL COVERAGE: 240 square feet per gallon @ 10% loss.

SURFACE PREPARATION: Good cohesion can be produced, if steel is cleaned properly and no rust exists. Sandblast according to SSPC Specifications.

APPLICATION: Airless or conventional spray is the recommended application method. Airless tips should be approximately .027 inch orofice. Number of Coats: One coat at 2.3 mils. DFT. May be topcoated with vinyl, chlorinated rubber, polyester or epoxy polyamide.

THINNING: Thin if necessary with Farwest #605 Synthetic Thinner.

CLEAN-UP: Tools and equipment may be cleaned with Farwest #605 Synthetic Thinner or Farwest #615 Wash Thinner.
