PRODUCT TYPE: Semi-Gloss Alkyd Enamel Finish Coat.

DESCRIPTION: This marine enamel finish is a durable weather-resistant alkyd enamel for heavy-duty use on wood or metal surfaces. It dries to a beautiful gloss finish. Formulated for the Pacific Northwest climate, it will withstand even the most extreme weather conditions.

Intended Use: For wood or metal surfaces.

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS

VISCOSITY: 67-77 k.u.

DRY TO TOUCH: 2 hours

WEIGHT SOLIDS: 66-73%

TACK FREE: 3 hours

VOLUME SOLIDS: 46-52%

TIME TO RECOAT: Overnight

WEIGHT PER GALLON: 10.6-11.3 lbs. per gal.

DRY HARD: 8 hours

V.O.C.: 380 grams per liter

COLOR RANGE: Wide Range of Colors

FLASH POINT: 105° F.

PACKAGING: 1 or 5 gallon containers

PRACTICAL COVERAGE: 350-500 square feet per gallon depending on the surface and specific application.

SURFACE PREPARATION: NEW WOOD: Should be primed with Farwest #710 White Linseed Oil Primer and allowed to dry for 24 hours. OLD PAINTED WOOD: The surface to be coated should be cleaned thorougly with Farwest #644 Gloss Set to remove all dirt, grease, or wax; then it should be sanded or wire brushed and spot primed with Farwest #710 White Linseed Oil Primer. METAL: New metal should be etched with Farwest #695 Rynolite Chemical Cleaner-Etcher or Farwest X-5679 Phos-Pro Metal Conditioner; then rinsed and allowed to dry and then primed with Farwest X-1184 Quickset Red Oxide Primer. OLD & RUSTED METAL: Should be wire brushed and washed with a suitable solvent or degreasing solution such as Farwest #644 Gloss Set, followed by an application of Farwest #695 Rynolite Chemical Cleaner-Etcher and then rinsed according to instructions on the label. IRON & STEEL: Should be primed with Farwest X-1184 Quickset Red Oxide Primer.

APPLICATION: Brush, roller, or spray.

THINNING: Thin if necessary with Farwest #602 Mineral Spirits.

CLEAN-UP: Tools and equipment may be cleaned with Farwest #602 Mineral Spirits.
