X-7288 Waterborne Acrylic Deck Coating

PRODUCT TYPE: Pigmented, Waterborne Acrylic Latex Polymer.

DESCRIPTION: An acrylic solid body stain suitable for exterior wood decks, fences, siding and porches. Suitable for cedar, fir, mahogany, aged treated and composite decking materials. Superior wear, stain and water resistance. Blocks most tannin stains with the first coat.

PRACTICAL COVERAGE: 200 square feet per gallon.

SURFACE PREPARATION: Clean all surfaces of oil, dirt, grease, corrosion and any existing paint that lacks good adhesion. Temperature must be a minimum of 50 F. to apply. For glossy surfaces, prepare the surface by applying Farwest #644 Gloss Set (Liquid Sandpaper) to dull finish prior to application. For New Wood: Ensure that the wood is clean and free of all foreign matter, then simply apply to the substrate.

APPLICATION: Stir thoroughly before applying. Apply by brush or roller at a spreading rate of 100 square feet per gallon. Allow the surface at least 24 hours before walking on or for recoating.

THINNING: Thinning is not recommended. If necessary, use regular tap water.

CLEAN-UP: Equipment and tools may be cleaned with regular tap water. If clean-up is delayed, clean with Farwest #610 Lacquer Thinner.
